CCAI's-CHINA'S HOSTING PROGRAM

Thousands of older orphans in China grow up without the chance for adoption and without experiencing the love and care of a family.  This sad reality must and will be changed.
Thanks to a collaborative project between CCAI and Project 143, we are thrilled to announce a life-changing program – China Orphan Hosting – which will make it possible for a number of older orphan children to spend five unforgettable weeks with wonderful host families in the USA!
By hosting an older orphan, you will fulfill your dream of impacting a child’s life and leave a permanent mark of love on a precious child.  Hosting is a great opportunity to invest your time, energy, and money in a human life, one who otherwise may never know his or her true value.
Will you join us in making a difference in an child’s life?
For more information on hosting an orphan from China for the winter of 2013, including hosting qualifications, expectations and cost, children’s photo listings, and the hosting application, please visit the website of our networking hosting agency, Project 143, at www.p143.org.

Care package #2

Another care package has been sent to our little love in China!

I pray that this is the last care package and that we will not be sending her one for Christmas because instead, we will be with her!

Here is a pic of Hope enthusiastic about sending her little sister a 'silky blanket'.

We have just received a donation of $200 towards our Henan orphanage funding!

This donation is from a very generous friend of mine! We cannot thank you enough and you know who you are little lady!

Blessings!

No More Training Wheels!

As you know our daughter Hope is a tough cookie! She commenced the day falling off of a curb at C.C (Classical Conversations) and she didn't make a squeak about it-which is rare, because she is loud! Then when we arrived home, she decided that she wanted to ride her bike-without the training wheels! I was really too tired to fathom the idea of her attempting this today. But then I saw her really trying and struggling, and then I felt a rush a pride...my little girl is not so little anymore:( So Freddy got out the camera, and I started to chase after her and hold her tight until she was ready to let go...and she let go sooner than I could have ever imagined! Sure enough, the girl was pedaling at top speed...she had one safe crash in our fire hydrant, but then she quickly got the hang of the breaks. She's amazing...no bias here;) I can't believe she's riding her two wheel bike already! She is a wild child...it concerns me at times. But she has started ballet and she is doing very well, I am so impressed with her and her ballet teacher. What they have already accomplished together is amazing. I was watching her in the window and I just could not fight the tears, the miracle of my children amazes me. God's grace on our lives, amazes me and I don't acknowledge or thank Him enough for what He has given me in this life. It must be true, we are the children of Royalty, because all that I have is beyond earthly riches and treasures.

Counting Down...

A little flashback on Hope wearing the same Qipao dress three years ago!
We are told that despite us prepping for immunizations and travel; the count down does not truly begin until L.O.A., which can take another 2-3 months! Some have claimed they have been LOA as quick as 15-20 days! This is God's plan and God's timing...so we will leave it up to Him, as we know that He likes to do the impossible-holding on. My sweet girls....for these girls I have prayed Father...I am so blessed by you God! 1 Samuel 1:27 NIV ► Hannah's prayer I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him.

Picture Updates!

Freddy is currently in Colorado, and he got the privilege of visiting the CCAI facility. They gave him a tour and showed him some pictures of our little girl! Of course I was super jealous and I just got them tonight! He said it was hard to fight back the tears at how big our girl has grown. She looks very healthy, Praise God. My heart does hurt to see these children without homes and especially, the gorgeous little boy sitting next to her with a limb difference;( These children are gorgeous and deserve a home and family also. Looking at these pictures definitely gives me the realization, that Faith has spent 2 1/2 years of her life in this orphanage. It is well kept and she seems to be attached to her caregiver who looks so young...and I am sure God put her there to care for our little girl...but it will be so good for her to finally have a home of her own. I can imagine that she will be emotional when she leaves her caregiver and meets us....and that is why I am sure it will be best for us to take our 4 children along. Faith is wearing one of the dresses we sent her 'a little pink qipao dress' she is quite tall and seems to always be eating something;) We are told that she is 'beautiful' 'Delightful' 'tranquil'

ABOUT CCAI

http://www.ccaifamily.org/ CCAI-Chinese Children Adoption International Rated one of the top international agencies for China! Their pricing and process is very humble and you feel as though they know you personally-they have a branch here in Florida and in Colorado (main branch). They are now conducting adoptions in Haiti and have been one of the few, successful agencies in Haiti. They are still conducting 'non-special needs adoptions in China as well, despite the waiting time increasing 6-8 years now unless you have Chinese/Taiwan heritage. Their special needs program (we are in this program) is just amazing! Because they really care about these kids! 83% of China's orphans are special needs; needs as minor as a cleft palate, heart murmur, missing limb/differences/burns and port wine stain-are all considered special needs. These were not considered special needs in the Russian program. We were matched almost immediately! It knocked us off our feet! We never received a photo before with our referral as well as so much documentation on a child like China does. CCAI works in all of the China provinces, and have their own orphanages in the Henan province (our daughter's province) and therfore, are better cared for by their trained and caring staff-Faith's orphanage is very nice and well kept with adequate toys and nutrition. While other aganecies compete with eachother in the same provinces/orphanages; CCAI, does not need to and offers you more flexibility in decision making and resources for your decision. You can even sponsor your child for updates while in the process and there is never any pressure. You can also send numerous care packages to your child. CCAI cares about these children and want the best match for these children and their needs and not the parents needs. When we recieved that first phone call-I was very hesitant and pessimistic...reminded myelf that this is a special needs program, and we may not be matched anytime soon since we're only willing to take in very, very, minor-medical needs. We have Aetna insurance, and we are all so healthy, bringing in medical issues into our family was not a decision we jumped into lightly. We then recieved an email, shortly after the phone call...and Freddy somehow was quick to get out his camera when she appeared on the screen! A face with a smile and a little body full of strength....she peirced right through my heart that afternoon-my daughter! We had just returned home from Haiti and so I was already overwhelmed enough...but meeting my daughter was such a blessing God had hidden for me. I could never imagine a more beautiful child...never! God made perfection when He made Faith. I don't care what her medical reports say...it says she may not be able to walk one day on her own...but she is running now and laughing now and calling out to her mama in a mini video that they also sent us. We had contacted *FIVE doctors! Yes, 5! Because our minds and hearts are so wicked at times; as the information settles in, you start to think no its too good to be true! This child is diagnosed with something! The rejection begins, the devil starts to play games with God's plan. Two out of the 5 expert opinions gave us the ok to Faith's diagnosis of meningocele/spina bifida; a medical condition, we checked 'maybe' on...but God had prepared my heart way before this with other friends, aquaintances, and blogs that I had stumbled on...at the time we were even sponsoring a little girl with the same diagnosis;( Please never think your life is an accident...and that you carefully planned out your children and family...because it simply is not accurate. God planned *you out, and He planned out your life in a way that would glorify Him and His mercies, His kindness and His love for you and yours. I am not a good person who has a good heart on my own. I am a redeemed soul resurrected from the dead. Because of my new life in Christ, my spirit constantly hunts for His path on this earth. And you will not find His treasures in places that are popular with mankind. You will only find His Gold, His Silver and His Diamonds in places like Haiti, in orphanages around the world and in America's Foster care system. And yes, even soemtimes, on your streets where the homeless sleep. Luke 10:9 "Heal the sick who are there and tell them, 'The kingdom of God is near you.’"

LID!!!!

Today we are celebrating yet another mile stone in this adoption journey LID!!! Log-in-date, of our dossier. Woohooo! Praise the Lord His timing is perfect. It is all about you baby Faith and His plan for your sweet life! Tonight, we wait for more instructions on paperwork, visas and travelling information. I am not looking forward to the visa process, and we will have to make a final decision about all 4 children travelling along with us to China. Travel is anticipated to be within 10-14 weeks of L.O.A. (the official acceptance of adopting Faith). Proverbs 3:9-10 New International Version (NIV) 9 Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; 10 then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine. MORE WAITING....

I can finally post this I think....I've been feeling expecting, but not really showing it...I think we can show it now! My baby is waiting for us to bring her home...come on 2013!

China by Friday!

Hi Freddy & Jeannie, I just wanted to let you know that we received Freddy’s original Employment Letter today- thank you! It looks like we should be able to mail your dossier to China by the end of the week. We will keep you posted-CCAI. I keep saying we sent it off and that the dossier is done...but as you can see its quite a process! It seems as though despite Labor day, CCAI is going to get this done a lot sooner than we thought. We were anticipating that by next Friday it would be sent off to China (dossiers only go out Fridays). So this is very awesome! God is definitely in charge here with our timeline. These days, we sure are talking about Faith more! And I am missing her more and feeling very anxious. We're holding off on dates and events and planning for China and Christmas...or Christmas in China;) Whichever comes first of course. CCAI does send their clients in groups and they coordinate us all together. Remember, we are also 'stand by' fliers....because Freddy works for UNITED Airlines and if we are in fact travelling around Christmas, with 4 kids, this will be tricky and very expensive! So I pray we leave a lot sooner...I got the call for Hope in November and we travelled to meet her in December prior to Christmas eve...so I won't be surprised if things play out similarly;) Mackenzie is asking me if we will be in China for his birthday and if he is still getting presents;) Ahhhhh kids...of course-he's getting a sister! He had a confused look on his face with this response.
